Windows XP Live: USB Stick Edition

Ever want to boot up into Windows XP via a USB memory key?
Well, now you can !!!
This is a miniature version of Win XP
Just enough to get you up and running so you can restore from backup, access your files, or do whatever you have to doSize - 60.4 MB packed and 152 MB unpacked

Installation instructions:
livexp usb-stick installer script v0.9 After the download and dearchive, run LiveXP.bat
-[main]-
1) change source path []- path to livexp source files
2) change target path []- path where livexp will be installed -
3) list or format volume(s).- use for formatting usb flash devices
4) create, delete partition(s).- use for partitioning a harddisk -
q) quit.

1. Windows Vista Images Are Bigger With Windows XP and Windows 2000, it was possible to create images that would fit easily on a single CD (less than 700MB). Even organizations that added applications, drivers, and utilities to their image typically ended up with an operating system image in the 1GB to 3GB range. With Windows Vista, image size begins at about 2GB--compressed. Once this image is deployed, the size is often around 5GB or more, and there's no way to reduce it. If you add additional applications, drivers, or other files, this image obviously grows even larger. So how will you deploy the image? Does your network have the necessary capacity? (10MB networks or non-switched networks are not sufficient.) If you want to use CDs, how many can you deal with? You'll need three or four.
